Welcome to MGL Avionics

MGL Avionics designs and produces a wide variety of aircraft avionics from sophisticated, highly flexible EFIS systems to airband transceivers.

MGL Avionics was founded in 2001 by aviation enthusiasts Rainier Lamers and Ria van der Wel in Johannesburg, South Africa to serve the vibrant aviation community in the country. However, MGL’s rapidly expanding product line became well known the World over and is now one of the big established brands. MGL’s complete commitment to the sport aviation sector has never wavered.

Four or Six place, single or dual circuit, stereo with Bluetooth (phone and music streaming). Cockpit voice recorder. High configurable system thanks to fully digital audio technology.

Integrates fully digitally with the V16 transceiver - no need for wired analogue audio and PTT wiring between intercom and up to two V16 transceivers.
