Hi all,

This is my first EFIS build so please take it easy on me haha.

I’ve purchased an iEFIS Lite G4, Fuel Flow, RDAC XG, Extender,SP6 and Xtreme mini. I’ve also got two AP servos.

I’m currently drawing out all my wiring of what connects to where and the next stage is to look at what type and size of wire to use for each link. I’ll be tying them into a Trig radio and Pilot Aware too.

I’m not seeing much detail on power consumptions of each unit to decide how to wire them - do you guys use a common cable size for everything or am i missing some info that can advise power consumptions?

I wonder if anybody has a similar set up and would mind sharing some wiring diagrams or how you’ve linked everything to give me a head start and avoid me re-inventing the wheel? Everything i do will be checked, but I’m keen to figure it all out and create it from paper to reality!

Thanks,

Rorie

The great thing amount MGL stuff is the simple the interface and how low the current consumption is. Almost the whole interface is with D sub connections. 20 gauge is the maximum and the practical minimum is 24 gauge. It’s easier to work with bigger wires and usually looks better.

Make a cartoon wiring diagram list by the looking at the connector assignments in the manuals. Then make a wire list with a function, size and length.
Good luck
