No not yet - we first need to complete FCC certification and obtain the FAA approval letter - before that it is not possible to sell them.
Hi @rainer - This is really exciting news to read.
I'm wondering if there's been much progress since your last post?
Also, would you see an easy integration with an existing Voyager EFIS, or should I be planning to install a supplemental Vega control head?
I'm quite keen to purchase as soon as it's approved.
Hello! Any idea how much the T16 is going to cost? I have a pretty good offer on a TT22 rn so just wondering whether to go for that or wait for the T16. Thanks!
We have not yet done production costing. The current state is that the T16 is now in production prototype stage (i.e. final PCB) and that FCC and FAA approval is next. We are busy pushing the native G4 EFIS systems and once that is final the T16 will continue.
The price is likely around 1/2 of anything else for a base model but there are going to be optional offerings - one with built in "ADS-B" in receiver and one with built in GPS qualified to SIL/SDA 2/3.
On a side note, sadly the T16 will not be available for sale in our own country as our own CAA is refusing to engage with us in any way on this (in fact they ignore our attempts at communication completely) and I will not risk selling the device here without local approval by the authority.
