In another thread related to this topic, Rainier stated this on a query to set up NMEA GPS port baud rate

Make sure you select the correct baudrate to be compatible with your ELT. You do this in your GPS and NMEA setup menu. The NMEA feed contains all required messages.
I have an Odyssey 2 operating in my RV8. It has run flawlessly for years.
I was hoping to replace my ELT with an ARTEX 345, but the ARTEX requires 4800 Baud NMEA. I do not see where I can change the baud rate on the Odyssey to 4800 for the NMEA RS232 port.
I only see 9600/19200 for baud rate selection on this menu and the ARTEX 345 requires 4800 Baud (which is the standard for NMEA 0183)
